Back-up

I decided not to visit the library belonging to Bemidji State University and I'm going to do a follow-up visit with Steve Bean at Itasca Community College.

Most of my correspondence with him will be by email. I am in the process of preparing my questions and will email those to him. I expect to have more questions for him after the first initial set. He has a busy April coming up and of course the days that I suggested to stop by and talk were days he would be out of town.

Anyways, Steve is always willing to help so I know that getting responses from him will not be an issue.

Hmmmm

I think I'm going to search for another location for this assignment. After I did speak with the gentleman that is sorta their system administrator, it really sounded like the University Library was not doing much of anything with Web 2.0 related things. Though he did say it has been discussed.

I would really like to visit a site that is doing something with Web 2.0, but I think in my area it is going to be slim pickings. I may visit my community college library again. I did an on site visit there last semester. It might be neat to see what additions or things that are in the works to compare to since my last visit.

Update

Well, I managed to get the voicemail of the individual that I should contact in regards to automation and networking. Now I wait for his return phone call.

Library Visit

I've been trying to make a connection with the library belonging to Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota. I'm going to make one more attempt tomorrow (Monday).
